What do I do during a medical emergency?
There are all types of dental emergencies; some are just uncomfortable or inconvenient while others, like severe pain, demand immediate attention.
Whatever your emergency, your priority is to get the help you need and get it fast. This is the time when you need to turn to an experienced dentist like Dr. Matt Cavendish who can help you get through your emergency.
Steps to Take for a Dental Emergency
The first step is to call our office to arrange an emergency appointment. The course of action we recommend depends on the emergency, and when you call us, we can provide you with tips for keeping yourself comfortable until you get to our office.
Some emergencies, like a lost filling, are more of a nuisance than anything else, so you may not need to drop everything to come see us. At the other end of the spectrum is a knocked-out tooth where we have about a two-hour window in which to try to replace the tooth successfully.
If you need an emergency dentist in Phoenix, AZ, please call the office of Matthew J. Cavendish, DDS, at (602) 482-2785. We’ll provide you with helpful instructions and make arrangements to see you as quickly as possible, often the same day.
